About the Flag

Sweden's flag has a yellow cross that represents the Scandinavian cross, and has a blue back round that was taken from the national arms. The flag is blue with a sideways cross, and it is only two colors. (THERE IS A PICTURE BELOW) The flag was adopted in 1906. The Swedish flag was first used in the mid-1400's, was made official in 1663. The colors came from the coat of arms.

Sweden's coat of arms features three gold crowns, symbols of Sweden since the early 1300's.
