Mexico is part of North America. It is connected
to the United states on the South side. Mexico is the
third largest country in the world. Its size is half of the
United states.
Mexico has three dry deserts. It is warm during
the day and gets very cold at night there. In the other
parts of Mexico all thru the year it is very warm, and
at night it gets a little cooler. It also has hot tropical
rain forests. The southern part of Mexico is wetter than
the northern part of Mexico. They get this weather
because the land around them has mild climate.
Mexico City is one of the worlds largest cities in
the world. More than 21 million people live there. Also
Mexico City is the capitol of Mexico. This capitol is built
on the ancient Aztec capitol of Tenochitlan. Mexico
City is more than 7,000 feet high. It mostly rains there
during the summer. Mexico City is the most exciting
place in Mexico.
Mexicans transportation . There transportation
is difficult because of mountains ,deserts, and forests.
There is only 62,000 miles of paved roads. Many Mexicans
own their own car. Tourist fly airplanes . If you were to
go to Mexico you would need to have plans for where you
think you might be going. There are still many parts of
Mexico where walking is the most common form of
transportation. Horse and buggy are still used in some
places.
Their food is hot and spicy. Most meals are
flavored with chili peppers and spices. Beans are added
in for extra fiber in their meals. The most important
food in Mexico is corn. The corn is used to make
cornmeal which is used to make tortillas. Tortillas
are thin and round like a pancake. They are usually
used for putting meat and hot sauce in it, or different
food for a meal.
Oil was first discovered in Mexico. Large oil
fields were found in the Gulf of Mexico. Mexico is the 16
major producer in the world. The United States is
Mexico's biggest oil customer.
As you can tell Mexico is a very exciting
country. They have a huge population. Just remember
