Known by the Pacific Northwestern American Native Peoples
to be ''just the other tribe.'' The 7- 10 foot tall biped cohabited the forest
for centuries with Indigenous villages. Existing as the most elusive tribe
on the face of the earth.Weighing in at 700-1000 lbs. and covered with hair,
these elusive human like giants of the forest live without what we call ''basic
necessities.'' Clothing, tools are unknown to their needs. Needs are simple,
food - rest and the nomadic life. Leaving nothing but brief sightings and
footprints
There exists today in wild and remote parts of
North America creatures that have to date defied the efforts of science to
identify them. These creatures are commonly known as Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Swamp
apes or Skunk Apes. They are also known by many other names in other parts
of the world. These creatures have been reported to exist in nearly every
part of the United States, yet as we enter the new millennium they still have
not been positively identified by scientific authorities. Some scientists
feel that Bigfoot is not a "missing link" but is most probably decended
from the Giant ape Gigantopithecus Blacki that was native to Asia and thought
to be extinct 500,000 years ago. Others believe that Bigfoot could be decended
from Homo erectus having evolved into a giant form. There are those who feel
that this creature is a previously unknown Hominid and would call it Homo
gigantus. One thing we know for sure is that all known apes (Pongids) have
a divergent large toe while Bigfoot does not. Bigfoot's tracks indicate that
its foot more closely resemble the feet of Hominids such as Homo erectus or
Homo sapiens (modern man) and hair samples that can not be positively identified
more closely resemble Human hair than the hair of Apes or any other known
animal.
