Relaxing is good for controlling
anger because it puts you in a different state of mind. Then you will be
able to deal with the situation.
Count to 10. Sometimes giving yourself
time to cool down will help the situation.
Breathe deeply and slowly. Be sure
your breath comes from your diaphragm, not your chest.
Try to imagine a place where you
are comfortable like your room, a soft couch, or a hammock where you can
lay down and read a book or take a nap to calm you down and forget about
your anger. Try using slow movements to relax your muscles.
