You are the only one
that can make yourself angry. No one else can control you.
When you get angry you
have choices. You can stay mad or you can calm down and think things over.
If you don’t do anything,
the anger can build up and you’ll get madder and madder. You should try
to find a positive way to let it out.

Count to ten and calm down.

Tell yourself that things will
get better.

Try to look at the situation from
all angles. See if you can understand things from another person's perspective.

Take your dog for a walk and tell
your dog all about. He/She will love you no matter what.

Take a jog around the block.

Clean. Yes, we said Clean! You'll
be amazed at how this can allow you to feel in control.

Jump rope or do anything that you
enjoy.

Be nice to someone who needs a
friend, or tell your parents “I love you.” It’s hard but try.
Hopefully
you won’t be as mad after trying some of these suggestions.
