I played a very important role in the Sorcerer's Stone during our first year at Hogwarts. Even though I didn't do as much as Harry did, I helped with a lot of the logic and magical problems we faced. When we first put Fluffy to sleep and we slipped by him, we were trapped by the Devil's Snare. It quickly began to wrap around Harry and Ron, but before it could get a tight grip on me, I wriggled free. As for Harry and Ron, I knew I had to act fast before it choked them to death. I finally remembered that with fire it would loosen it's grip enough for the two boys to escape. At first, I had a brain cramp and I thought I couldn't light a fire without wood, but Ron reminded me that I'm a 'WITCH WITH A WAND'!!!!!
I lit the Devil's Snare on fire, and Ron and Harry escaped and we all slipped through the trap to the next floor. The next task, we faced was a room full of flying keys. Harry was the one that spotted the key, and got us through the locked door. When we had to play chess across the giant board, I merely did what Ron said to help. Ron was knocked out, so we had to leave him. We had to walk over a knocked out troll. Then we proceeded to a room where there were seven bottles filled with potions. Since I'm pretty good at logic puzzles, I figured out which potion Harry should take. I gave Harry the bottle that would take him to the next place through the flames. I took the bottle that brought me through the purple flames so I could help Ron and send an owl to Professor Dumbledore telling him everything.
In the Chamber of Secrets, our second year, I can't say I did a lot to help Ron and Harry. You see, when I was doing some research about the strange creature in the Chamber Of Secrets, I was coming back and looking in a mirror when, BOOM, I was petrified! It was terrible! I don't remember anything after that because I was petrified for a few weeks. I remember the day though, when I was freed from the spell and found out that Harry had again conquered You-Know-Who (Voldemort). I was so happy.
In the Prisoner Of Azkaban, our third year I again didn't play a super important role, but I did some pretty important things. The first important thing I did was to figure out Professor Lupin was a werewolf. My discovery was very important to myself, Harry, and Ron because we were able to understand why Lupin was always ill and why he hid on certain nights. I also played a big part when the Dementors were coming to kill Sirius Black. We were running out of time when Dumbledore hinted that I use my Time - Turner to help. I had had it since the first day of school so I would be able to get to all of my classes which were usually at the same time. I helped Harry figure out that if we turned the Time-Turner 3 times, we would be able to save Buckbeak, who was going to be executed. With Buckbeak free, we could save Sirius, who was locked in Professor Flitwick's office. Everything went as planned. We flew up to the office, unlocked Sirius, jumped into the office, and set Sirius on Buckbeak on their way to freedom. We ended up saving Buckbeak and Sirius.
In the Goblet of Fire and the Tri -Wizard Tournament, our fourth year, I didn't do a lot, but I did do some things. First of all, in the Tri -Wizard Tournament I helped by giving Harry hints about how he might conquer things in the events. I also helped out when I was put under a spell, and one of the four competitors, Viktor Krum, had to save me underwater. Harry was supposed to save Ron, but he tried to save us all causing him to lose time. Since he tried to save me, he was granted extra points. Basically, I helped Harry with little things like how to solve things. I didn't do a lot, but what I did do helped him a lot.
