The Chamber of Secrets is a great book to read. There is a devious plot to close Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the book, Harry gets attacked by a basilisk, a serpent-like monster. Ron's sister, Ginny, almost dies, and Hermonie becomes petrified. If you love a book with a high intensity level, you should read this book. If you don't like books that leave you in suspense for a while, maybe you shouldn't read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I loved this book, and you might too.
