Tanya Grotter, like Harry Potter, is an orphan, has a strange mark on her face, wields magic, and has an enemy too terrible to be named. This should be in easy one for J. K. Rowling, especially with the help of AOL Time Warner.
Cinescape and The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films announced today the nominees for the 2003 Saturn Awards ceremony. Chamber of Secrets received 6 nominations, although on the site it says 5:

Harry Potter author J K Rowling gave birth to a boy. The baby named David Gordon Rowling Murray was born at the New Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh. Rowling's publicist Nicky Stonehill said, "Both mother and baby are doing well." Ms Stonehill would not give any further details, but confirmed Rowling and the baby, her second child, had been released from hospital.
"Boy wizard Harry Potter has received his second affirmation from Christian clergy in less than a month as a Protestant minister, in a new book, compares the fictional magician to Jesus Christ," reports the Ottawa Citizen.
