The Witch Twins

The Witch Twins is a great book. Two twin girls named Clair and Luna have a mom and dad that split up. Now their mom has a boyfriend, and their dad has a girlfriend. The girls don't really like their dad's girlfriend, Fluffy. The bad news is that their dad is getting married to Fluffy. When the girls heard the news, they were mad. The witch twins went to their grandmother's house to ask if she could get rid of Fluffy because their grandmother was a witch. She was in a bad mood so she didn't help. The girls went home and tried to do some of their own tricks.

Fluffy asked the girls to be junior bridesmaids at the wedding. They didn't want to at all, but they had to. When they went to get their dresses, they got the worst ones they could find. Fluffy was allergic to bees, and the dresses looked like bees so Fluffy started to swell up. Fluffy didn't like the dresses at all, but to be polite, she let the girls get them.

In school, the twins were having problems, too. Their teacher who they liked was going to have a baby so they needed a substitute teacher for half of a year. They didn't really like their substitute teacher. Then it got worse. Clair and Luna were separated into different classes. That was the sub's idea. Clair and Luna were not happy about this at all.

After a while the twins got used to their new teachers. Clair became word friends with Luna's teacher. Luna also made some friends. When some kids saw Luna drawing on the pavement, they said that she should help make the scenery for the school play.

The wedding came, and the girls wore their ugly dresses. The girls had gone to the church early so they could put some bad spells on the church. The flowers died, and Fluffy was supposed to forget to say "I do." When the bride saw the mess, she was sad and the girls felt bad for doing those things. The girls went to school and borrowed decorations and some dresses from the play. Fluffy was happy, and the wedding went on. The girls found out love is stronger than a witch spell when Fluffy was able to say, "I do." The girls were given their witch cats, and they became star witches.
