In 1689, Salem was called Salem Town. Salem Town couldn't agree about the new minister they were getting. Some people didn't want the man they were getting, but others did. The final decision was to hire him. The question was, was this a good choice by Salem Town?

The minister's name was Samuel Parris. The minister came with his family and his West Indian slave, Tituba. At first everything was fine, but then something happened . . .
