Kelly, Jennifer, and Adelaide
were three friends. One Halloween, Kelly and Jennifer were
deciding what they wanted to be. Kelly said they should be
real witches for Halloween. They both agreed on that and
teamed up with Adelaide.
Then the next day a girl
named, Rae Jean, brought her cat over to Kelly's house to
brag. Rae Jean was a really popular girl who was having a
Halloween party. Kelly, Jennifer, and Adelaide were not
invited. While the cat was there, it got a hold of Kelly's
bird. The bird died, and Kelly got even madder at Rae
Jean.

Now Kelly really wanted to ruin the Rae
Jean's party. That night the three girls had their first witch
meeting. Kelly said they had to sign their names in blood on the
Black Book. Then they would have to be sprinkled with grains of the
Golden Field and chant Turius, Muris, Zurius. They had to grease
their brooms with pig fat, a poisonous plant called belladonna, and
soot. Then they had to keep their brooms in a safe dark place for 7
days. They also cast the Full Moon Spell for protection. They saw a
note tacked to a tree. It said: Midnight is a witching hour, then you
shall be in my power. No one knew who had written the
note...
Kelly wrote fake notes so people
wouldn't go to Rae Jean's party, but they didn't really work.
Jennifer thinks nothing is going to work because they are good at
being witches. They needed to get a pet so they chose a trained,
deodorized skunk. Kelly decided to let her brother Ben and his friend
Buster join the coven.
The coven did all sorts of things to
try to ruin Rae Jean's party. The three girls snuck in as fortune
tellers. It all came down to one thing, a love potion. It kind of
worked, but it didn't ruin the party. Kelly, Jennifer, and Adelaide
went to the party and confessed what they had been up to. They
apologized and so did Rae Jean. They all became friends.
