My name is Michael and I took you on a tour of the West. I did all the research on the western states. I also inserted the images into the web pages. I helped proof the site for mistakes. As part of the group I helped design the web page. Together we decided on the topic. We chose this topic because we knew students learned about the United States in school and we wanted to make their life easier! I am a fifth grader at Rum River Elementary in Andover, Minnesota.
My name is Amanda and I took you on a tour of the Southwest. I researched all the states in the Southwest. I also inserted the images for my web pages. As part of the group I helped decide what we would do our project on and helped to design the what the pages would have on them. I word processed the resource pages and found many useable internet sites that we could link to. I am also a fifth grader at Rum River Elementary in Andover, Minnesota.
I am Nikki and I am a fifth grader at Rum River. I researched the states in the Midwest region. I used many different sources to find my information. I learned how to insert graphics into a web page. I learned that it takes a great deal of planning to put a web page together. We worked for three months on this project. Together we planned all the parts of the site.
The Southeast region was my job. I am Caleb and I am a fifth grader at Rum River. I got all the information for the states in the southeast. It was a lot of work! We spent many mornings before school talking about what our site would look like and include. We started with about 10 titles before we settled on "Tour the USA." I thought we should include sports teams but when we narrowed down our topics that was one we eliminated. Have fun exploring our site. I think you will learn a lot about the United States.
I am Grace and I am in fourth grade at Rum River. I have the best teacher in the world! I learned all about the Northeast Region. All the information I gathered helped me because we are learning about the U.S. regions in social studies. It was very important that we kept track of all our resources.
