Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany.  He was always different from other people through out his whole life.  He thought the compass and magnetism were a miracle and amazed him. He had a rough time putting his thoughts into words at age nine and didn't have very many friends.  The teachers at the Catholic school he attended were horrible to him. They were Jewish, though.   Albert would ask questions that no one could answer and would smile in a mysterious way when they couldn't answer.  Kids were interested and entertained when he out smarted his teachers.

When his family left to go to Italy to get better sales for their electrical factory.  Albert was told to study hard for his diploma.  School was never pleasant for him, but it was turning into a nightmare.  His work was easy, but he missed his family a lot.  Joy was taken out of Geometry and Math.  He told the family doctor about his problems and convinced him to write a note saying he needed to take a year off from school to be with his family.  At school with his note in his pocket he was asked to talk to the teacher privately.  He was told that the students no longer had respect for the teachers and was expelled.  He didn't need his note anymore.

Albert loved many things in life.  Two of them were his violin and children.  He always found time for children.

Italy was home to Albert.  Not the home of screaming teachers, but the home of beautiful sunshine and mountains.  He had friends who considered him a genius.

To Albert the world was a huge riddle and he longed for answers.  He needed to know all the answers for every mystery.

Later Albert married a girl named Mileva and had sons named Hans and Eduard  and a daughter named Margot.

He divorced his serious wife, Mileva.  They fought often and never agreed.  But, he married his friendly, happy, cousin, Elsa.  She was also divorced and had two grown daughters.

Albert Einstein corrected scientists by proving that gravity is curved space.  He also proved many other things that helped many people around the world learn correct information.  We will always remember Albert Einstein.
