TORNADOES

A tornado is like a big vacuum that sucks up everything.  Tornadoes are in the shape of a funnel.  Tornadoes are the most dangerous natural disasters.  A tornado can do more damage than you can think of.  A tornado has swirling winds reaching 550 mph.  You can classify a tornado by its wind speeds.  Down below there is a chart of the wind speeds of a tornado.

Tornadoes can do all sorts of damage.  A tornado can knock over trees, flip trucks, and tear up the ground.  A tornado can lift a house from its foundation and carry it to another city.  In case of a tornado, while in your house, hide in your basement.  If you don’t have a basement hide in your bathtub with a mattress over your head.  If you are out on the road you should get out of your car and hide in a ditch.  If you are near

A bridge, you should get out of your car and hide under the bridge in the craves of were the ground and the bridge meat.  You and your family should have a plan on where to go incase of a tornado.  Tornadoes mostly happen the southern areas of the US, down in Texas, New Mexico, and South Dakota.  Some people have been sucked up into a tornado and were thrown one mile away.  Some have survived a tornado, but others weren’t so lucky.  Tornadoes are very dangerous, so always have a plan on where to go and what not to do.
