FLOODS

A flood is very dangerous.  A flood can knock over a house in a mater of minutes.  A flood is like a huge pool that can move very quickly through a city or state.  You can drown very fast in a flood.  There are roaring waves like in the ocean.  A wave can hurl itself on top of you and crush you under

the water.  A flood can knock over trees and can damage dams.  Floods can flip cars and they can knock over buildings.  Floods mostly happen in the Coastal Plains, but a flood can happen anywhere. A flood can be as big as a car or it can be as big as a two-story building.  You can climb to your roof and be sure you know how to swim.  We cannot “stop” natural disasters, but we can be safe by having a family plan, all most like a family plan incase of a fire.  You can have a spare raft in case of a flood.  Remember a flood is very dangerous and they can hurt you a lot.
