Pharmacy Technicians

Pharmacy technicians are people who work to provide assistance for registered pharmacists. Their responsibility is to make sure that medications are used safely and effectively. They work with and study medicine given to the patient.
Pharmacy technicians need to specialize in biology and chemistry. They are required to have a minimum educational level of at least some postsecondary training. To be a pharmacy technician you need to be able to follow instructions. Pharmacy technicians work primarily indoors.
Pharmacy technicians work in shifts. They can work at any time of day depending on their shifts because of hospital pharmacies being open twenty-four hours a day. Pharmacy technicians' salary range goes from $20,000 to $30,000. Many people enjoy this career.
