Pearl Harbor was a naval base for the United Stateson the island of Oahu. It was bombed by Japanese forces on December 7, 1941. Thousnads died in this tragic attack. This lead the United States into World War II.

The bright side of this disaster was that when the United States entered WWII, it gave the Allied Forces the strength to win the war.
