Months passed and people forgot about the sword in the stone, but they still wanted a king!</div> <div> Then word was sent out that a great tournament was to be held in London.  The winner would be named the King of England.</div> <div> During this time King Arthur had been learning how to be a squire to his foster brother Sir Kay, who decided to enter the tournament.  When it was time for Sir Kay to joust, Arthur would ride before him and onto the field, carrying his spear and sword. Suddenly Sir Kay realized he didd not have a sword. Arthur rode back to hotel room to get it, and found the door locked. In haste, he looked around and saw something flaming in the distance. It was a sword! He quickly rode up to it, pulled it out of the stone,  and gave it to Sir Kay at the tournament.</div> <div> "Our room was locked, so I pulled this sword from the great stone in the courtyard". Sir Kay's face turned white as he said:"I don't believe you! Put it back in the stone and pull it out again!" Arthur did just that.
