Light

How To Tell If Your Community Has Light Pollution:

How do you know if your community has light pollution? Take a look at the sky after the sun has set. Do the clouds glow pink? While that may look pretty – the pink clouds mean there's too much light in the sky.

Air

Materials
Plastic cup 3/4 filled with gravel
food coloring
Plastic cup with holes in the bottom
Plastic cup 3/4 filled with water

Plastic cup
Pump dispenser form lotion soap bottle

Step 1
Put food coloring in the water so that it isn't clear.

Step 2
Hold the cup with holes in the bottom over the cup containing the gravel
and pour enough water to fill the gravel filled cup until all but a cm of the gravel
is saturated. What do you think the in the gravel filled cup represents?
