Location

Wolves do not have a specific area where they are found . Wolves may live all over the world because a wolf's diet is easily found in many parts of the world. Their habitat as well is easily made, and since wolves move, they easily adapt to many different environments. They are more plentiful in the Northern Hemisphere than in the Southern Hemisphere.

Hunting Style

Wolves are complex and cooperate while hunting. They hunt in packs. Like most predators, wolves will go after the younger, weaker, or sicker animals. Wolves will chase down their prey. Three or four wolves will run behind their target, while two might run at the side of the animal, biting at its neck when given the chance. They then tear the meat and fur with their teeth and claws. They will save some of the chewed food for the pups. Darker wolves have an advantage over the lighter wolves at night. The darker wolves are stealthier in the dark and are harder to spot than the lighter colored wolves. This makes it easier for the darker wolves to hunt at night. The lighter wolves, in contrast to the darker, have advantages during the day. During the day, when everything is lighter, it is easier for the lighter wolves to blend in with the surroundings. Wolves might stalk the group that they had previously hunted from if the group has an abundance of other prey.
