Description

The American Crocodile is a shy and rare reptile. They have a triangular shaped snout and can grow to 15 ft. long. Adult crocodiles are grayish-green with yellowish-white bellies. They are very good swimmers using their tails mainly to guide them through the water while paddling along with their webbed feet.

Diet

American Crocodiles are carnivores, or meat eaters. They eat a variety of crabs, fish, waterfowl, and small mammals.
