FASTEST LAND PREDATOR IN THE WORLD
Description

When a cheetah is full-grown, its fur is yellow with black spots all over its body except the throat, which is white. The cheetah's teardrop marking helps it become camouflaged in shadowy grass. The black marking around its eyes helps to give shade from the sun. Most cheetahs weigh from one hundred ten to one hundred thirty pounds, are about thirty-two inches tall from their shoulder to the ground and, are fifty-six inches long. Their tails, which act as rudders when they run, are thirty to thirty-two inches long.
