Theodore Roosevelt was born on October 27, 1858. He was the child of Theodore and Martha Bulloch Roosevelt. There were four children total. They were Anna, Theodore, Elliott, and Connie. His family and close friends called him "Teddie". He hated the nickname "Teddy". In 1876 he attended Harvard College. On June 30, 1880 he graduated form college and entered law school but he quit two years later without getting a degree.
On his 22nd birthday he got married to Alice Hathaway Lee.
