Our Think Quest Team is comprised on five people: four students and our coach. Read about us below.
Arielle is a 5th grader at Lake Harbor Middle School. At school she is a mentor for the O.W.L.E.T.S program. Her hobbies are soccer, basketball, gymnastics, roller-blading, swimming, reading, hanging with friends, and talking. She plays soccer on a U-11 Rec-Plus team, and basketball on a U-11 team. She is in Level 4 at Northshore Gymnastics. Her primary role as a member of our Think Quest Team was the biography page, game page, and she helped write the letter to the President.
Kylie is a 5th grader at Lake Harbor Middle School. At school she is a mentor for the O.W.L.E.T.S program, and plays the flute in the band. A few of her hobbies are playing sports, talking on the internet, playing with her puppy, talking on the phone, riding her bike, listening to music, and traveling to different places with her family. She also plays soccer on a U-11 Rec-Plus soccer team. Her Think Quest duties included putting everything on the web site. She also helped write the letter to the President.
Jenna is a 5th grader at Lake Harbor Middle School. At school she attends Chorus and O.W.L.E.T.S, a program where she tutors other children. Some of her hobbies are soccer, playing with her cats, hanging with her friends, riding her bike, roller-blading, swimming, singing, dancing, talking, and drawing. She plays soccer on a U11 Rec-Plus team. She also does swim team in the summer. Her part in the Think Quest program was the Teddy Bear page, the bibliography page , game page, and she helped write the letter to the President.
Samantha is a 5th grader at Lake Harbor Middle School. At school she mentors students in O.W.L.E.T.S, and she plays the flute in our school's band. Her hobbies are playing sports, playing with her cats and dogs, riding her bike, chatting on the internet, swimming, dancing, hanging with friends, and talking. Samantha plays soccer on a U11 Rec-Plus team. She also does swim team in the summer. In Think Quest, she did Life in the White House page, the game page, and she helped write the letter to the President. She helped work on the Bibliography page, too.
Our Think Quest coach is Ms. Suzanne Buras, a fourth grade gifted teacher at Lake Harbor Middle School. She is the 2003 Louisiana Teacher of the Year for the Middle and Junior High division. She also sponsors O.W.L.E.T.S.
