Clue Jr. mystery series is a series that you would love to read. Every setting is different yet every character is the same. Throughout Della Rowland’s Clue Jr. Mystery series some characters like to eat like Mortimer Mustard and Georgie Green. Others like Polly Peacock and Samantha Scarlet love solving mysteries. Peter Plum is in charge and Wendy White is nice but in one story she tries to sell a fake autographed picture and get away with it. Instead of going home with money She went home broke. Clue Jr. mystery series is a series that you would love to read.

Della Rowland was born in Evansville, Indiana, and lived in Nashville, Tennessee and New York City before moving to Rutherford, New Jersey where she currently resides. Even though Della Rowland thought that she was going to be a teacher she realized she was more interested in literature then teaching. She decided to go to the “Big Apple” and pursue a career as a poet. During that time in New York City, she worked as the editor for MS magazine for eight years. When asked “where do you get your ideas”, she said “I get ideas from everyday events.” She goes on to say that some of her characters are based on her children. Mrs. Rowland inspires others to write by going to different schools and talking to the students. She challenges them to take the everyday situations that they face and try to write a story from these events. I am certain that she is inspiring many people everyday
For my book reviews I’ll be focusing on the stories: The Case of the Stolen Jewel, The Case of the Mystery Ghost and The Case of the Winning Skateboard Even though these mystery books have many different stories in the book, I am writing about only on the book title stories. Have fun reading about these MYSTERIES!!!
In the Case of the Stolen Jewel focuses on one of the most common crimes in a mystery, a stolen jewel. Mr. Jules, the jewel salesman, was going to put a diamond in a ring for the bank president’s wife anniversary. Mr. Jules put the diamond in a safe and only him and his partner Frank are the ones who knew the combination. When they went looking for the jewel, it was gone! Apparently someone stole the diamond! Read the book and find out who stole the diamond.
The
Case of the Mystery Ghost is about how the Clue kids bet a bully that they can
go into a haunted house for a pizza. They all use their detective wits and they
see the bully running away from the house. The bully claimed that he was to
keep his bet safe. He also said he ran out of the back door from inside but was
that true? Do you want to know what
happened? Sorry, I am not giving away any
answers! You are going to need to
read the book.
The Case of Winning Skateboard
My favorite story was the Case of the Mystery Ghost. I liked this book and story the best. To me it was the most suspenseful story. Even though all of Mrs. Rowland's books keep my interested, this story was my favorite out the three that I have wrote about.
