Diamonds have been the main attraction for many years. Diamonds were once thought to originate from the sap of a plant. In Brazil, in 1726 diamond miners learned the pebbles that they were using as gambling tallies were the actual diamonds.
Diamonds can be found all over the world. Most of the famous diamonds of the world were found in India. For almost 150 years Brazil was the diamond center of the world. Now the largest producer of diamonds is Australia.
Diamonds are very popular for their beautiful looks and great value. Usually a diamond is given to a woman for an engagement ring, and has accented many different types of jewelry. The diamond is worth a lot for just a tiny pebble of coal that has been changed into a beautiful jewel. The most expensive diamond is the canary diamond. The canary diamond is a yellow canary color. Diamonds are mainly found in a clear color and are rated by color and clarity. In my opinion diamonds are the most valuable jewel and are my favorite jewel because they shine and sparkle in the light.
