Normandy

The battle of Normandy, was nicknamed D-DAY. It was an allied invasion, on the move to take back France from it's German captors. Allied bombers swept the coast on Omaha, and Utah beaches. American soldiers ran into a massive barrashe of enemy fire. The Germans had a strategic bunchers and turets set up to attack the allied Paratroopers. In the end, the allied troops took the coast.
