 Many battles were fought on land. During these battles many courageous men died fighting a never ending sea of enemies. After long and deadly battles America and it's allies came up on top. The soldiers who returned were injured and had lost many of their friends. Others were never found and there families were given their belongings. Many memorials were made in their honor. We at Barren County Middle School would like to express our gratitude we have for those who fought for freedom and tried to help others out of a very bad situation. Thank you.
