The Arctic Ocean is found at the top of the world at the North Pole. The North Pole is the spot farthest to the north on planet earth.

Not many scientists have visited the Arctic. It has not been explored as much as other places on earth, so we don't understand a lot about the Arctic. Some scientists believe that the weather in the Arctic affects the world's weather, but until it is studied we will not be able to say how.

New studies say that the atmosphere, ocean, and land in the Arctic is changing. The changes that are happening are natural changes. Humans did help cause the changes a little , and humans are affected by the changes too. Greenhouse gasses from automobiles, ships, and products have helped make the climate change in the Arctic. Something called Arctic Oscillation makes the climate change. When warm and cold air begin to rotate like a fan it is called oscillation.
