| The people in Egypt may have to save some of
their money for a rainy day. But of course, they save water for all
of the her days, or days that there is a lot of
sun. Only once a year, rain drizzles down over Egypt, and the Nile River
flows
once the rain stops, and the sun comes out from behind the clouds, all of the water goes down. But then, of course, there is not enough water to last them through the rest of their year. So, the Egyptians built the dam across the Nile River near the the town of Aswan. The large Aswan dam holds back some of the flood waters of the Nile River. |
