Matt My name is Matt M. and I am 10 years old.  I go to Sodus Intermediate School. I learned a lot about birds by being a member of the Think Quest team. One thing I learned about birds is they lay eggs and fly south for the winter. We went to the distance-learning lab and talked to someone who knows a lot about birds. He told us about all kinds of birds. My favorite part about the bird research is going to the distance-learning lab and researching my bird.   One thing I still want to see is the killdeer in spring.
Jenna Hi! My name is Jenna and I am 9 and in 4th grade. I am from the Clyde- Savannah Elementary School and I’m a part of a Think Quest team. The school I’m working with is  the Sodus Intermediate School. The bird I was assigned to was the Common Yellowthroat. I have learned that the Yellowthroat’s scientific name is Geothypis Trichas. In the future, I would like to learn how many bird species there are exactly. I also would like to learn about Doves and Cardinals. My favorite part of this was when we went to the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge. They had all these real looking animals. There were a lot of different species
Allie  My name is Allie. I am a fourth grader at Sodus Intermediate School. I learned many things about birds from being on the Think Quest team. One thing I learned is that people get upset when the Canada Goose is called the Canadian Goose. One thing I still would like to know is where all the birds go when they migrate. Students from Clyde Elementary ventured with us on a field trip to Montezuma Wildlife Refuge. We also took a trip using the distance learning lab at the Sodus High School. We visited a wildlife marsh in New Jersey.  My favorite part of this experience  was learning about all these birds.
Kim Hi! My name is Kim. I am 9 years old. I am in fourth grade. I am a member of a Think Quest team. I go to Clyde-Savannah Elementary School. My bird I had to research on is the Black-throated Green Warbler. I have learned from what we have done that the Black-throated Green Warbler is the most common Warbler in migration. Migration is the travel from one point to another point during a particular part of the year. We have gone to Montezuma to research and look at birds. At the Distance Learning Lab we talked to a nice guy in New Jersey. He told about all sort of birds. The thing I remember him talking about the most was the Osprey. I learned that the Osprey eats only fish. Some things I would like to learn are how many miles does an average bird would fly during migration. I would also like to learn how long it would take for it to do that. I think this project is a great experience to me because when I get older I might have to do something like it again. I learned a lot from this project. I really liked it a lot.
Lexi  Hi! My name is Lexi I am 9 and I am in 4th grade. I am a part of a Think Quest team. The school I am from is Clyde Savannah . The bird was assigned to me was the Herring Gull. While in this program I learned a lot of things like what different birds look like and do, especially the Herring Gull. I learned that migration is a travel from one point to another at a particular point of the year. While I was in this program I had many different experiences like going to the Distance Learning Lab and Montezuma Wildlife Refuge. I enjoyed this project a lot.
Kaitlynn Hello, my name Kaitlynn and I am 10 years old. I am from Clyde- Savannah Central School District.  I have learned about a lot of migratory birds. I have also learned how to make a website on the internet. I have been to the Montezuma Wildlife Center this year while I was learning bird migration. I also went to the distance learning lab at the Sodus School. At the distance learning lab we talked about birds and asked questions about birds.  I would like to learn more about these birds:  the Pigeon, Golden Eagle, and Sea Gull. I really liked  the project of Migratory Birds.
Sarah My name is Sarah and I have learned a lot about migratory birds.  I am in fourth grade and go to Sodus Intermediate School. I am on the Think Quest team.  One of the things I have learned is  at Sodus High School there is a distance-learning lab, where you can talk to someone over a big screen.  Another thing I learned is that it is difficult to find birds and be in the right spot at the right time.  My favorite part about this experience was our trip to Montezuma Wildlife Refuge. We got to go up in a tower type thing and look for the birds that we were assigned to. This project has been a lot of fun and I hope to go to Montezuma again to see an Eastern Phoebe up close.
