Dear Diary,

I was walking down the path to bring Uncle Henrick his package, disguised in a lunch basket, when 4 soldiers with dogs stopped me on my way. I was really scared, but I remembered what Mama had told me . She had said to act like nothing but a silly little girl taking her uncle his lunch. The dogs tore through the food and found the package. All that was in the package was a little handkerchief. I didn't see why this was so important, but the soldiers let me go and I ran all the way down to Uncle Henrick's ship. I asked him why this was so important. He said that it had a special smell to it because when the dogs came to search the ship, you just had to take out the handkerchief. When the dogs sniffed it they couldn't smell right. Well I have to go help Mama set the table.
