On this site you will learn many things about Greenup County. We created this site because students go through school learning about many different places in the world, at times without knowing about the place in which they live. This site was created to celebrate Greenup County's Bicentennial year, and to help educate the community and others about the place we all live.
The big bicentennial bash is still a ways off. The actual bicentennial celebration; will take place over two days in June ( closer to the actual date the county was established). Many Activities are planned for the celebration some include dances parades, and a six-foot-long birthday cake! Click here to learn more about upcoming celebrations.
