When a rich feller across the creek decides to throw a fancy party to find himself a wife, Rose's stepsisters, Annie and Liza Jane, start dreamin' about becoming his bride. Right and left, they're orderin' Rose around-not even thinkin' that Rose might like to go to the party herself. And on the night of the shindig, Rose finds herself left behind - until one of the hogs comes up to the fence and starts talkin' to her. As it turns out, that hog just happens to know a little bit o' magic.
