The Appalachian Trail starts in Maine, goes through New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Conneticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsyvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia.

The Appalachian Scenic Trail is 2,167 miles long.
