Rainforests of Africa

Angola
Angola, is found on the southwest coast of Africa. Angola has lost most of its large pieces of tropical rainforests because of “political instability and the resulting poverty.” Overseas there is a demand for rainforests to be cut down for use as wood or fuel. The rainforest has caused soil erosion.

Liberia
Liberia is located on the west coast of Africa. It has lost most of its large rainforests because of harvesting and clearing for agriculture
