Sand Tiger Shark
Most of the Sand Tiger Sharks live in the shallow parts of the water by the shore. But do come around to the deeper parts of the water. They travel in-between the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico.

The Sand Tiger Shark ranges from 10ft.-18ft. ft. long, and can reach to 2,200lbs. Sand Tiger Sharks eats a lot of food. Often the sharks travel in groups of 3-4. They all circle their pray then they attack. They will attack just about any thing such as fish, seals, and turtles, they can hold up to 100lbs. of food.

The female fish contains two packets inside her stomach each containing 15-20 eggs. over a year the packets become stronger. Each packet lets one egg out. When both the baby sharks develop they eat the rest of the eggs in their packets. Both baby sharks resemble their mother but they are smaller then her.

There is more than one species of the Sand Tiger Shark. Almost all of the people who research sharks agree that there is one thing in common with them all. They all have a staring yellow eye and the most dreadful teeth in the shark world. What they look like is a grayish brown top and a lighter color of brown on the bottom around their stomach.

The Sand Tiger Shark has a lot of records of attacking people. But not as much as the Great white shark.
