Pretend
that you find yourself alone on a remote area such as a island, a forest, or
a jungle. You will be there for approximately one week. There will be no outside
help, and you will not be allowed to make contact with anyone during your stay.
Therefore, communication devices such as radios or telephones will be of no
assistance to you. You alone will be responsible for finding food and shelter.
However you will have two advantages over the characters in the books. One reason,
you know in advance you will be alone, and two you will be able to bring along
a “survival sack” filled with 25 items. The fun - and challenging
- part is that all the items must fit into a inside a large sack. You must be
able to lift and carry the sack. Get a piece o paper and list the 25 things!
