Turtles

A turtle lives on land or water, but make sure that you put it somewhere nice and warm. Most children from 3rd- 5th grades usually get a medium- sized pet turtle. Turtles prefer to eat underwater. If you go to a pet store, get some turtle food and feed it to your turtle. If your turtle is decorated, ask an adult to clean the turtle with either turpentine or nail polish remover. If your turtle is a water turtle, he needs a high rock that is above the water. If it is a land turtle, you need to put a bowl of water in with your turtle's terrarium. Pet turtles can be big or small, round or boxed.
