In 1919, the Samoans came to Hawaii. They weren't treated fairly and had to do hard jobs. But now, things are different. Everyone is being treated equal and Samoans have many opportunities. Samoans are also very successful people, and they have jobs in government and law, sports, military, education, medicine, religion, and engineering. But what about the future?

Samoans can learn from other Samoan role models in the fields of medicine, law, education, law enforcement, business and politics. The challenges facing Samoans of the future are culture resiliency and adapting the the westernized culture, as well as maintaining their cultural values. There should be a commitment to youth and education. I am not a fortune teller, so I can't tell you what's going to definitely happen in the future. There is something I can do, make an educated guess. When I looked at the past and the present, I noticed that the Samoans went from having bad lives to being treated fairly. The Samoans have the same opportunities as any other culture. They can be anything, go anywhere, or do anything they desire. To me, this looks like a good future.
