Introduction: The Capulets and the Montagues have been enemies for forever. Romeo, a Montague, is the grooviest dude in college. Juliet, a Capulet, is hip and happenin'!!
Scene I
Juliet and her friend are talking about Juliet's disco party that she is having. they are on their way to different classes.
Juliet- Peace-man!!!!!
Mackenzie- Peace-to-you-too, man!!!
Juliet- Are you like coming to my disco party on Saturday?
Mackenzie- Far out dude! I'll be there!!
Scene II
Romeo and his friend are talking about Romeo's love, Taylor. She is going to Juliet's party so he is planning to sneak in.
Romeo- Love is in the air. I feel groovy!
Jack- Like who have you fallen in love with now?
Romeo- My love is Taylor.
Jack- Far-out! Did you know that she is going to Juliet's party Saturday?
Romeo- Ya, hey, man!! I just got like a plan!
Jack- Groovy!
Romeo- I can like sneak into the party and like disco with her!! I know she'll fall for me!
Scene III
Juliet is having her party. She has turned on the disco ball and the boogie has begun!! Romeo has snuck in and is trying to get Taylor to notice him, but he gets someone else's attention......................
Mackenzie- This party is so far out!! (leaves to dance with Jack)
Juliet- Who's that? (mumbling to herself)
There is a stranger hidden in the corner. Juliet doesn't know who he is.
Juliet- Oh well. (turns around and leaves to go dance)
Romeo- Peace Taylor. (goes up to her) Would you do some (pauses) boogying with uh like me?
Taylor- No way!! You are like to much of a jerk for me! (walks away and dances with a friend)
Romeo- Drat!! (he stands there staring at his true love)
Juliet sees that the stranger has come out of the corner. she goes up to him to find out who he is.
Juliet- Peace-dude. Who invited you?
Romeo- I wanted to uh like check things out. (he turns to face Juliet)
They just stare at each other for the longest time. they know that they are in love. they had heard of love at first sight, but never thought it was true.
Romeo (breaking the silence)- You are like that Capulet girl, Juliet.
Juliet- And you are like that groovy Montague dude, Romeo, or am I like wrong?
Romeo- Would you like disco with me?
Juliet- Like far-out!
They dance for a long time. Romeo and Juliet wish that that night would never end. Finally it is time for everyone to leave. Romeo is the last one there.
Romeo- That party was like far out!! you are totally the best boogier in the whole school.
Juliet- You really like mean that?
Romeo- totally. ( he gives her a quick peck on the cheek) Bye.
Scene IV
Next Morning at breakfast Juliet is telling her parents all about the dance.
Juliet- It was like the bomb!!! All my friends were like there. Too bad you dudes were out for the night. After like Kenzie went to dance I like saw this dude in the corner. It turned out to be (she hesitates) uhhh........
Juliet's Dad- Who was it, honey?
Juliet- You like promise you won't get mad. It was like Romeo.
Father- Romeo?!!!!! (yelling) ROMEO MONTAGUE?!!!!! You know you aren't allowed to talk to him! I forbid you to talk to him or see him!!!
Juliet- But like daddy.......
Father- No buts!!!
Scene V
Romeo was telling his parent about the evening.
Romeo- ......and when I was trying to like ask her to dance she was like all mean and not acting hip. But then I saw this girl. she was like so much more groovie! It was Juliet. As soon as I saw her I, uh I (he knows he is in trouble)
Romeo's Mother- You are in love with a Capulet? Juliet? JULIET CAPULET?!!!! YOU KNOW THAT THAT IS AGAINST OUR FAMILY!! YOU DISGRACED ME AND YOUR FATHER.
Romeo- But mummy..........
Mother- You can't sweet-talk me!! You are not allowed to talk or see her again!!!!!
Scene VI
Romeo passes by Juliet's house and sees her on her balcony.
Romeo- Is that like you, my Juliet?
Juliet- Yes and is that like you, darling Romeo?
Romeo- It like is. My mother like won't let me see you again. I like love you but are families are like enemies and always will be.
Juliet- I love you too! But my father also like says that i can't see you. it is all because of the fights we have. How were we made enemies? It has been so long, no one knows what it was even like about!!
Romeo- But soft! What light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun!
Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,
Who is already sick and pale with grief
That thou, her maid, art far more fair than she....
It is my lady. O! It is my love!
O that she knew she were!...........
See how she leans her cheek upon her hand:

Juliet- .......touch that cheek. Oh, Romeo you are so far out!
O Romeo, Romeo! where art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name;
Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,
And I'll no longer be a Capulet....
Romeo- ..... and I'll no longer be a Montague!
Juliet- What's in a name? That we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo called,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes.....
Romeo- That was like so groovy!!
Juliet's father- Juliet, come in, you might catch a cold!!
Juliet- Coming! Oh, like, good bye, my darling Romeo!
Romeo- And like bye to you too, my sweet Juliet.
Father- JULIET!!!
Juliet- I'm coming! (goes inside)
Scene VII
Juliet is talking to her friend about the night before.
Juliet- .............. and it was sooooo like romantic.
Mackenzie- Did he really recite Shakespeare?
Juliet- Like Yah!!
Both- OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Mackenzie- Guess what?
Juliet- What?
Mackenzie- Jack asked me out!!
Both- OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Scene VIII
Romeo is telling about his magical night.
Romeo-............. Juliet is so groovy. you should have seen her. Oh, I love her!
Jack- I finally asked Kenzie out. She is really cool when you like get to known her!
Romeo- Juliet is like so much better!
Jack- No, Kenz is better.........
Scene IX
Romeo and Juliet meet secretly in the old school auditorium.
Juliet- (whistpers) Oh Romeo, I love you and you love me.
Romeo- Your like so right. I do love you. I can't live without you.....
Juliet- ...................... and I can't live without you.......
Romeo- .......... but how can this last? We are sworn enemies and and and .......
Juliet- Oh, I know! Let's run away!
Romeo- Will you marry me?
Juliet- Like of course. There is nothing in this world better than you......
Romeo-...... and you. Meet me here tomorrow night. I'll bring someone with me.
Juliet- Of course!
Romeo- OH! I have to leave now. Good bye!
Juliet- Good bye, my dear Romeo!
Scene X
The next evening Romeo and Juliet are getting married. They are worried that something wrong.
Romeo- Like what if something goes wrong?
Juliet- It's okay. as long as I'm with you I'm fine.
That night they were married and became husband and wife. Don't worry, they are in college and are 25 and 24 years old.
Scene XI
Romeo and Juliet are riding in Romeo's car. He is taking Juliet out to a nice dinner.
Juliet- Oh, thank you for doing this! I can't wait!!!!!
Romeo- Like no problem. We can do it any time!!
There is a sharp turn ahead. Romeo doesn't see it. he leans over to kiss Juliet and..........
Juliet- (screams) Romeo, look out!!!
But is is too late. the car flies over the cliff. It crashes below.
Juliet- Romeo, Romeo are you okay?
There is no reply. She sees his body there, lifeless.........
Juliet- Romeo, oh my darling Romeo. I love you!
She kisses his lifeless lips in farewell. She sees a pocket knife slide out of Romeo pocket. She snatches it and pulls out the knife.
Juliet- Romeo, I'm coming. Now we will finally be in peace, together, forever. If this is what I have do, I will do it!
She holds the knife up to her chest and plunges it into her heart.
Juliet- (dying) Oh Romeo, I love you.
