The titan were the children of mother earth. They were taller than mountains and the mountains were their thrones. There were six of these gods and they had six sisters the titanesses. The sisters were the titans wives. Mother earth also had three Cyclopes with one eye in the middle of their head. Their names were thunder, lightning and thunderbolt. They were also tall and they were strong too. Sparks flew out of their clubs and lit up the heavens. Soon mother earth had three more sons who had fifty heads and a hundred strong arms. Uranus hated to see such ugly creatures and he threw them into the deepest pit under the earth. Mother earth loved sons and she told the titans to put an end to Uranus's cruelty and set the Cyclopes and the other brothers free. She gave them a weapon. All but the strongest and youngest were scared and the youngest took the weapon. The strongest made Uranus run because of his strength and the youngest did to with the weapon. Then the titans went and saved their brothers and lived happily together.
