Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
Well, if all the king's men
had been
abstract artists,
they would have easily put Humpty back together again!
Shuffle,
scramble, and rearrange in the abstract process known as Cubism, and you have new meaning
for your object.
Materials
- Crayons or colored pencils
- White paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Magazines
First, pick a specific topic in the magazine, such as shoes, cars, or furniture.
Pick clear, good-sized pictures.
Next example: if your choice is shoes, then you might
draw a bedroom closet, complete with shoe bag and shelves, or you might draw a shoe store.
Then, use crayons (or colored pencils) to create a cubism drawing.
Then cut out pictures
from the magazines and paste on some parts of your picture!
