Appearance

The full-grown can reach to 10 pounds. It also has a red belly.



Range

It can be found in southeastern Massachusetts.


Habitat

They like to hang around fresh bodies of water.


Food/Diet

This animal eats insects.


Breeding

They lay eggs, once the babies hatch they hurry to sea for safety.


Status

They were declared endangered in 1980. The main cause is predators and weather. There is only 200 left.
