
Appearance
The background color is mainly a deep tan, pale reddish brown, or olive green with many black scales, but the tail is totally black. Jamaican boa's size averages out at about 6.5 feet.
Range
This deathly snake only lives in Jamaica.
Habitat
Boas love the Jamaican dense forests with moist limestone. Sometimes you can even find in rock crevices, caves, and trees if you're lucky because they are just about extinct.
Breeding
These reptiles lay a certain kind of egg and then finally the hatchlings hatch. Their gestation period is unknown.
Status
The Jamaican boa has become officially endangered because people are destroying their habitats. The human population is expanding and we keep on tearing down other creature's territory.
