Appearance
The Greenland White Tailed Eagle is sort of a brownish color of feathers with a pure white tail. It also has a long neck with a yellow beak. On its feet you can see the sharp claws poking out.
Range
The white tailed sea eagle is only in a few countries such as Greenland, Europe, and Asia. From the north of Norway down to Iraq or Iran. Also Japan and India.
Habitat
They like seacoasts, the valleys
of large rivers, and inland lakes.
Food/Diet
They eat primarily on fish but show a liking to tump-suckers and pikes. These big creatures require at least 500-600 grams of food daily out in the wild.
Breeding
The sea eagle makes a barking sound
in the mating season which is fall to attract the mates. Once they mate
an egg is to be laid.
Status
This beautiful creature is about to become extinct and we need to help! Their are only about 350 pairs in the world left.
