It is about 1.6 meters tall and 3.75meters long. Usually it weighs betwen 1.5 to 2 metric tons. On its nose it has two long horns. The black rhino's thick cosrse skin which is a blackish gray color protects it from most predators. It also can run up to 45 km.
 
 

They live a round eastern and southern Africa.

The black Rhino prefers to hide in the bushes of eastern and southern Africa.

A rhino can even run faster than a man. Its attacks are very sudden at its species that is scaring the rhino. Their diet consists of mainly grass.
 
 

The baby rhino is born without horns but will grow them later on in their life. The gestation period is very long which is 450 days.

The balck just about became extinct bacause of people destroying their habitat.
