The foul lane is 12 feet wide and long.

A free throw line should be drawn (2" wide) across each of the circles on the court diagram. It should be parallel to the end line, and also should be15' from the face of the backboard.

The three-point field goal area has parallel lines 63" from the sidelines, extending 63" from the baseline and an arc of 19'9" from the middle of the basket which intersects the parallel lines.

Four small marks will be marked (2" wide) perpendicular to the sideline on each side of the court and 28' from the baseline. These hash marks should stretch 3' onto the court.

 Two hash marks should be drawn (2" wide) perpendicular to the sideline, in front of the scorer's table, and 4' on each side of the midcourt line. This is known as the Substitution Box.

Equipment

The backboard should be a rectangle measuring 6' by 3 1/2'. The front surface should be flat and see through.

 A transparent backboard should be marked with a 2" white rectangle centered behind the ring. This rectangle should have outside dimensions of 24" by 18" vertically.

Each basket needs to have a white cord net 15" to 18" in length. The cord of the net can not be less than 30 thread but not more than 120 thread.

The ball should be an officially approved WNBA ball with its weight being no less than 18 ounces but no more than 20 ounces. The circumference of the ball must be between 28.5 and 29 inches. The ball should be inflated to an air pressure of no more than 9 pounds.
