Habitat: Coast of
North America, Northern Russia, and Greenland
Size: Males weigh up
to 990 pounds, females weigh up to 770 pounds. When they
are standing, they are between 8 and 11 feet
tall.
Diet: Polar bears are
carnivores. They eat seals for the most part. They also
eat lemmings, arctic foxes, eider ducks, and some
vegetation.

bears are great swimmers and can swim up to 6 miles/hour
and can swim for up to 50 miles at a time. They have a
great sense of smell.
