Many of the great castles from the Medieval Times are still standing today. A castle was a strong private residence of a ruler along with being home to a host of knights and peasant workers. Castles were made to withstand a cavalry charge of knights. As well as being a home, the castle was a symbol of power. Our web site has information and some of our own original drawings on knights, weapons, parts of a castle, armor, and ranks. We have also included a 10 question quiz, complete with answers. |
